Artists are constantly making art to hang on their own walls. We selfishly create masterpieces to nourish our own self-ego, disregarding the people who truly need it.
I didn’t wake up one day and say that I wanted to be an artist, a “designer” of some sort. It’s something that grew in me as I began to understand world as it is, asI began to understand me.
I’m just a vessel.
I’m not the person who just knows the techniques and the skills to please you ascetically, and you walk away with no regard of the very art you’ve engaged. My work is about essence. I’m much more interested in shifting your paradigm, or to bring you the details of life that we seem to miss. The minute this happens, what we do as artists becomes alive and infectious.
